This small London garden is designed to be a beautiful, ever-changing view from within the house, drawing the eye through the space in all seasons. At its heart, three elegant Malus 'Evereste' provide structure, their spring blossom and autumn fruit adding charm and interest. Beneath their canopy, a simple palette of low-maintenance woodland plants—ferns, hellebores, and evergreen ground covers—creates a soft, textured underplanting.

 

The garden’s natural levels are subtly managed with terracing and carefully placed hardscaping, creating a gentle, cohesive flow. Designed for minimal upkeep, it offers a tranquil, inviting scene to be enjoyed from both indoors and out—a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of London life.
